Your appointment slip is valid for 30 days. You can go for your medical appointment on any day within this period. However, it’s recommended to schedule your appointment within the first 15 days for optimal convenience.
GAMCA medical examination results can come in 2 to 4 days. The result of the GAMCA medical examination may take a maximum of 26 days.
The applicant’s age should be greater than 12 to do medical registration
- If the applicant is fit, they can rebook a GAMCA medical appointment after 2 months from the examination date.
- If the applicant is in unfit status, they can rebook an appointment after 2 months from the examination date.
A total of six countries in the GCC require the GAMCA to approve a visa. They are UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.

The GAMCA medical examination involves the following:
- A medical history review
- A physical examination
- Chest X-ray
- Blood tests
INFECTIOUS DISEASES:
- HIV-positive (AIDS)
- Hepatitis (B) Surface Antsgen Poutive
- Hepatitis C Antibody – positive
- Microfilaria and Malaria
- Leprosy
Any abnormal chest X-ray manifestations including, but not limited to:
- Active on past evidence of TB
- Pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary calcification
- Pleural effusion
- Lymphadenopathy.
NON-INFECTIOUS DISEASES:
- Renal failure
- Liver failure or hepatic insufficiency
- Heart failure
- Uncontrolled Hypertension
- Uncontrolled diabetes.
- Different types of cancer.
- Psychiatric and neurological disorders
- Any distortion, amputation, or physical disability impeding the applicant’s performance.
- Hemoglobin below 79/100di.
